A. If the former owner wishes to continue to work, he or she will have an employment agreement, usually with the title of Chief of Staff.
A. You will receive an excellent return on your business investment, and the knowledge that your staff will have a secure future. Healthy Pet’s purchase prices for practices are above industry averages.
A. Not necessarily. According to a Veterinary Market Study by KPMG Economic Consulting Services, over the past 15 years vets who own their own practices have seen their real income decline by about 20%, despite their putting in more hours.
A. In general, we look for practices with two or more full-time doctors (or the equivalent) on staff. Equally important is the reputation of the practice for providing quality medicine, as well as its stability and well-maintained facility.
A. Healthy Pet streamlines marketing, human resources, computers, finance, accounting, purchasing and payroll in one proven system. During the transition period, Healthy Pet will either train a member of your staff for the role of Practice Manager, or put one in place.
