Healthy Pet has built a reputation on quality, integrity and a commitment to partnering with veterinarians who share the same ethics.
Not all veterinary practices are suitable to be purchased by Healthy Pet. In fact, of the 200 or so hospitals we review each year, only five to 15 are selected for purchase.
While each practice is evaluated on an individual basis, we typically are interested in purchasing practices that have: • Two or more full-time doctors (or the equivalent) on staff, with all doctors sharing primary involvement with patient care • An outstanding reputation for practicing quality medicine • A strong staff that makes sound decisions and has pride in its work • Stability and a well-maintained facility
In valuing your practice, we will also take into account: • The goodwill you have established within your community • Historical performance • Current revenue trends • Evaluation of profitability • Real estate values • How your hospital can add value to the Healthy Pet organization overall
